Still heading North we come to the little town of Moss Beach. Oh Boy! I can smell the Tacos and Burritos from the family owned Mexican restaurant. Scooters are great for putting you close to land and local areas. If we turn left off the highway and toward the Pacific Ocean we can travel about two blocks to the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. Part of the California State Park System. The photo is from the top of the cliff, a short downhill to the beach. At low tide up to several hundred feet of rocky beach extend out into the sea. Visitors can walk out and see Starfish, Mussels, Clams and a variety of small marine life close at hand. The rocks farther out are homes to Harbor Seal and Sea Lions. See Photo. Continued:
