Review of a VIP Future Champion Scooter

by Anonymous
(Las Vegas, NV USA)

We paid $1100.00 for our scooter, storage compartment, two helmets and a 30 day seller warranty. It looks nice and sleek (we have red wine color). The only problem we have had so far is that on day 3 is stalled and wouldn't start up again; we took it back to the shop we bought it from and they honored the 30 day warranty and replaced the carburetor for free ($240 worth of parts and labor).

Our salesperson had made us aware before our purchase that any glitches would likely show up within the first 10 days. Since then we have had no other problems and now have ridden it over 400 miles.

We are first time scooter owners so we don't have much to compare our experience with but we did research our options here in Las Vegas on our choices from who to buy from here in town rather than through the internet. It has now been two months since we purchased and we are very happy with this scooter, we average about 80 miles per gallon.

If I could change anything about this scooter I would make the turn signals more bright and obvious during daylight. At night they are plenty adequate though. We bought this scooter out of dire necessity but have quickly grown to love and prefer our scooter over our van.

So far so good
by: Yensid77

I purchased this bike with a trunk helmet and tag/title included for under 1,300. This is my first scooter purchase and the shop was very helpful in getting me started. I have put about 100 miles on it so far and love it. It feels very stable and has been fun to ride. I'm looking forward to the break in period to be over so I can not worry about being in full throttle.

I purchased it from Wild Hogs Scooters in Winter Park, FL and was very impressed by the shopt and the way they do business. I will be going back for the service between 300-500 miles to have everything checked out and he has promised to show me how to do the 1000 mile oil change when I go in for that which I thought was amazingly cool.

Much like the other review I do find it hard in full daylight to see if my turn signal is on even though the actual turn signal is plenty bright enough. The spedometer has gone out a couple times although the odometer has continued to work fine.

We are here in Las Vegas. Do a search Meetup Las Vegas then scooters. Or you can go direct to scooterrescue.me

You should have already change the oil and every 500 miles after that. Come to one of our meetup and we will go over your maintenance needs.

Hope to see you guys.

Battery Tender Junior in package

A battery tender like the Battery Tender Jr. can make all the difference in whether your scooter will start right up each spring, after being stored for months.

Just about every scooter owner needs to have a battery tender, sometimes called a trickle charger. Unless you are lucky enough to live in a climate where you can ride all year long, chances are your scooter will be put on ice, figuratively-speaking, for at least a couple months every winter.

One of the key steps in winterizing a scooter is to protect your battery from draining during its "rest" period. This can – and will – happen if you leave your battery sitting untended in your cold scooter over the winter, even if it's in a garage or shed.

Read our review or go right to Amazon.com to buy this highly recommended Battery Tender Jr NOW...
