Peace 150 Scooter Review

by Ken

First, they have metrics that the Germans haven't even developed. I have had bolts strip out with no replacement available, including the shop where I bought it from. Also, they went out of business.
I have had 3 carbs, 2 batteries, and 3 electric chokes.

They are exactly what they say they are: Made Cheap, Sold Cheap, Expensive to keep.

Peace Sports 50cc
by: Tony Adams

In defence of Peace scooters, I bought a 50cc model TPGS805. Cheap it was, less then 900.00
tags, taxes, and all. I rode it for about 300 miles with no problems other then the common fastner problems everyone has with new chinese scooters. Wanting more power,I ordered a 80cc big bore kit from Scootertronics.com. Those guys are great, they have your scooter parts. I now have 1000 miles on the scoot, its 14 months old, and has performed flawlessly. I stay on top of normal service, and the only wear item i really had was the drive belt, which are crap from the factory. Put a Gates belt on and forget it. I love mine---

Au Contraire
by: Jim Zeiser

Peace Industries is alive and well and situated in Georgia. The scooters they sell are made by the Chongqing Astronautical Bashan Motorcyle Company. I don't know why you're having trouble with your Bashan I've been abel to buy metric hardware for it at my local hardware store and body clips from NAPA when I lost some. If you go to Scootdawg.com-forum and just about any thread look up a person called The Math Club. He has ties to Bashan USA and Peace Industries.

P.S. My Bashan imported by Peace Industries has 2400 miles and is running fine with routine maintenance and an issue I fixed myself in the driveway. Most problems with these scooters is from bad initial prep and the fact that your dealer is out of business is testimony to how good he was.

Battery Tender Junior in package

A battery tender like the Battery Tender Jr. can make all the difference in whether your scooter will start right up each spring, after being stored for months.

Just about every scooter owner needs to have a battery tender, sometimes called a trickle charger. Unless you are lucky enough to live in a climate where you can ride all year long, chances are your scooter will be put on ice, figuratively-speaking, for at least a couple months every winter.

One of the key steps in winterizing a scooter is to protect your battery from draining during its "rest" period. This can – and will – happen if you leave your battery sitting untended in your cold scooter over the winter, even if it's in a garage or shed.

Read our review or go right to Amazon.com to buy this highly recommended Battery Tender Jr NOW...
