What about the Ice Bear 300cc Compeller version trike scooter?

I have heard some bad things about the 2009 versions of the Ice Bear 300cc Compeller trike scooter, but just wonder if any of you have had an experience with these new ones and if you have a particular company that is honest and forthright to deal with.


Would appreciate any information you can give before I think about purchasing one of these.

I have a 2014 Zodaic Trike
In one year I Have Call the company and even talk to the china company. and have ask them if they will sell me the repair book for the motorcycle and
They're is no book ,the Mechanics said the harness suck because the bike was made with out a electrical blueprints to it. This have cost me to much money . I do not recommend this bike from overseas no manual or parts for it go luck with parts. Best bet buy a USA Scooter witch you could get parts for it and repair shop or over this Country.

I'am in the market to buy a icebear 3wheeller a 2014 and I've been reading nothing but bad on these big boy toys is there any one out there that has any thing good to say about these 3wheellers.And I stay here in Houston Tx. And is there any one that can fix on these big boys .Because chine is to far to be fussing with to fix these toys and 6000 is not a drop in the pot .

My husband and I purchased a 300cc Ice Bear Zodiac brand new last year. We have had nothing but problems. The exhaust is constantly coming apart. The intake manifold hose has come off twice. Most recently the fuel pump went. He tried calling Ice Bear a few times to ask questions and they were extremely rude. They kept asking him who he gave his money to and told him that was who he needed to call. Their products are junk! Will never buy anything from Ice Bear again!!

I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW TRIKE 300 CC MAGNUM I GOT IT AND RODE IT 2 HOURS AT THE MOST AND IT BROKE DOWN ON ME NOW ITS BEEN OVER 2 WEEKS TRYING GET IT FIXED .WITH DEALERSHIP I GOT IT FROM TRYING GET PARTS BUT WITH NO LUCK SO IF YOU WANT PARTS FROM ICE BEAR HOPE YOU GOT PLENTY OF TIME TO WAIT I WOULDN'T SUGEST BUYING ONE FROM ICE BEAR

I bought a 2011 model last year and it has been noting but a problem. I got no manual with it, so have no way to know what to do to fix the issues I have had. With less than 200 miles on it, the trike is just taking up space in my garage. It overheats going up hills, the tach doesn't work, several bolts are loose and some have fallen off. Plastic body isn't ideal either.

On the plus side, it handles nicely, is easy to ride and looks pretty cool.

I am very disspointed with the scooter!!! It has lefted me and my son on the side of road twice! And I have just had it for 3 weeks. Its has been my worst nightmare!!!!! the manual doesnt tell you how to open the seat!! You have to take the hole front end off just to get to radiator!!! Then today it did again it stopped running for no reason!! I looked to see what could be going on i notice that a hose that goes to the carburetor was off. And i dont have a book on what part this could be or what i need to do!!! The scooter only has 175 miles!!! Its new!!! if anyone knows where i can get a repair manual please let me know at tfulton@stx.rr.com thank you

I had already paid my down payment and placed my order for a 2012 icebear Compeller about a week ago,this morning the shop owner called me up and told me that he was advising me to not proceed with the purchase because the other one that they had sold within the last several months came back with the vibrations in the rear end and the company (Icebear)would definately NOT honor the waranty.He said they hired an attorney to try to get results with no results so far.He realy hated to turn away and loose that big of a sale,but,in his words,he was protecting his customers from the red flags he has already seen,so,I test drove another brand 300cc and ended up buying it at the same price.It was a higher priced bike but he gave it to me for the price of the compeller.I've seen nothing but less than stellar reports about Icebear practices and products so far.

 Ice Bear 300cc Magnum trike

Hi Bud... I can tell you that my wife and I have been riding the 300cc Magnum trike this summer. It has been very comfortable with swing arm suspension and huge under seat storage.

As far as mechanical matters, we have had none. I should say that my son has a dealership for these bikes and does a very thorough PDI which I think is key to avoiding problems waiting to happen.

We are taking the Magnum to Florida for the winter and will do a lot of beach cruising. If you want to see more, my son's web site is www.trikes4fun.com
