Well I have a Vespa scooter in a silver color and I love it because of its style, looks and moreover its power and mileage, which are terrific. The thing which distinguishes Vespa from other scooter brands is that its balance and handling are great and it gives a comfortable and joyful ride with a very power full 2t engine.

It is capable of going up and down hills (slope area) where others find it difficult and as I usually travel long distances, I must say the scooter is really made for long distance journeys, which is another plus point.

I love my Vespa scooter, which I've been using for 5 years. One negative thing is that in cold weather, it gives some starting problems… but that is just next to negligible. The braking is also great, the power is awesome and incomparable with any other scooter… it's my love. I really think my Vespa scooter is just the best.

Balanced?
by: Anonymous

Wow you really think your scooter is balanced? With the whole weight of the engine on one side I find this hard to believe. Don't get me wrong, I like the Stella's and PX's, and own a few myself, but these are far from balanced scooters. And it's a 2 stroke, of course it's hard to start in the cold!!! Cheers!

Battery Tender Junior in package

A battery tender like the Battery Tender Jr. can make all the difference in whether your scooter will start right up each spring, after being stored for months.

Just about every scooter owner needs to have a battery tender, sometimes called a trickle charger. Unless you are lucky enough to live in a climate where you can ride all year long, chances are your scooter will be put on ice, figuratively-speaking, for at least a couple months every winter.

One of the key steps in winterizing a scooter is to protect your battery from draining during its "rest" period. This can – and will – happen if you leave your battery sitting untended in your cold scooter over the winter, even if it's in a garage or shed.
