Genuine Buddy 170i

Genuine Buddy 170i

After riding motorcycles most of my life I went to a scooter because of back issues. I quickly discovered how much fun a scooter is.

We started with two Znen vintage style 150cc scoots that treated us well for about three years. Recently we bought a Genuine Buddy 170i and a Genuine Buddy 150cc International. These scooters are a bit quicker and a ball to ride.

We are always looking for scooter riders in our area to join in meets and rides in Volusia County, FL.

Buddy NEW
by: Megan Clark

Buddy's are a great scooter. My first scooter was a Buddy Blackjack 150 cc. I loved that thing. I now have 250 cc and 500 cc scooters. I will always love my Buddy as it was so fun to ride for around town. I wish I still had it. You can never have too many scooters!!

Genuine Buddys NEW
by: Mark A

I've had my Buddy 170i for a couple months now and am enjoying every minute of riding. Everything I was led to believe by reviews and dealer comments is true. It's a great performer that really digs in for such a small bike. I'd recommend it to anyone. My wife has the 150 International with a carb instead of the fuel injection like the 170i, and it is amazing in it's own right. It is fast, comfortable and extremely reliable too. They are both very refined little bikes. After owning motorcycles for 20 years, it sure is a pleasure to tuck these scooters into the corner of the garage and easily wheel them out when we're ready to go. We had made up our minds that our riding had become different and although we had enjoyed the many years of motorcycling, scooters fit our lifestyle
better these days. Shorter rides being more fun that serious riding now, but we wanted to ride a scooter that could keep up with traffic when we needed to. We also didn't want the bigger, heavier scooters since we love how easily the Buddys maneuver. The 170i and the 150 International were really perfect choices!

Welcome!

Welcome to our online scooter club, Mark (and wife)! We're glad to have you here. As you probably noticed, we have quite a few Florida members.

Where in Volusia County do you live? My mom and dad lived in Orange City for many years, so I'm pretty familiar with that area. Great scooter riding area... when it's not thunderstorming!

Anyway, hope you enjoy your Buddy scooters. Would love to hear more about how you like the Buddy 170i. My hubby is thinking of buying one, come summer.

Battery Tender Junior in package

A battery tender like the Battery Tender Jr. can make all the difference in whether your scooter will start right up each spring, after being stored for months.

Just about every scooter owner needs to have a battery tender, sometimes called a trickle charger. Unless you are lucky enough to live in a climate where you can ride all year long, chances are your scooter will be put on ice, figuratively-speaking, for at least a couple months every winter.

One of the key steps in winterizing a scooter is to protect your battery from draining during its "rest" period. This can – and will – happen if you leave your battery sitting untended in your cold scooter over the winter, even if it's in a garage or shed.

Read our review or go right to Amazon.com to buy this highly recommended Battery Tender Jr NOW...
