JMStar/150cc

I purchased this scooter from Sunny Sports on line. On its arrival it did not work. I replaced the battery with a high quality one, but it was to no avail. I then brought it to the local dealership that was recommended by Sunny Sports, and had the electric starter housing replaced at my own expense. Then, only one month later it stopped running again. I would not advise any one to purchase anything from Sunny Sports.

Shops rule!
by: Anonymous

That is exactly why you should support your local shop. Buying online is cheaper, sure, but you get what you pay for. Supporting your local scooter shop gives you the accountability of being able to return to the store and have all warranty issues and others handled. Not to mention supporting a local business that contributes back to the community unlike fly by night dropshippers!

Correction

A correction on that last one, it's
http://www.scootersus.com/
They sell their own line of scooters labeled as Motorinos and most people seem to be satisfied with them. They are a little pricey, and I think that GS Motorworks and Green Earth are a better deal, but they are quite reputable.

I agree-Sort of
by: Jim Zeiser

It's well known how bad Sunny Sports is. That's why at Scootdawg we've established a pecking order of online dealers. GS Motorworks.com, Greenearthscooters.com and if you have bucks to burn, Scootersrus.com. These three have established themselves as being honest, stand behind their warranty and don't deliver junk that breaks down at the drop of a hat.

This is another example of why I always tell people: Do NOT buy a scooter from a drop shipper. They are here today, gone tomorrow. Once they have your money, they disappear. I have only heard of three examples in two years of owning scooters that had a good experience with this. I hope you are able to get this scooter running cheaply, and put all the troubles behind you.

Battery Tender Junior in package

A battery tender like the Battery Tender Jr. can make all the difference in whether your scooter will start right up each spring, after being stored for months.

Just about every scooter owner needs to have a battery tender, sometimes called a trickle charger. Unless you are lucky enough to live in a climate where you can ride all year long, chances are your scooter will be put on ice, figuratively-speaking, for at least a couple months every winter.

One of the key steps in winterizing a scooter is to protect your battery from draining during its "rest" period. This can – and will – happen if you leave your battery sitting untended in your cold scooter over the winter, even if it's in a garage or shed.

Read our review or go right to Amazon.com to buy this highly recommended Battery Tender Jr NOW...
