How do I remove the blinker sound off of my Chinese scooter?

I'm nearly sure the sound is from inside the plastic, white chamber beneath the dash
My Yanglei Chinese scooter makes a terrible loud sound when I turn the blinker on. Think a heavy truck's backing up sound--95% like that. I know it's up in the chamber beneath the dash but there's cords all over the place.
What would I be looking for; a little black squishy pouch to puncture? I want to remove, or minimize the sound, but am afraid of damaging something--or ruining the blinkers altogether.
