The Honda Elite 250 in traveling gear
I have 3 scooters: 1985 Honda Elite 250, 2002 Honda Silver Wing 600, 2010 Sunny Reverse Trike 150. I started on a scooter (Allstate Compact) when I was 14 years old. I am now, at 58, back to scooters because of health issues, and these days, I have fake feet; I am amputated below the knee on both sides, so I need controls on the handlebars.
I bought the Honda Elite 250cc scooter in 1991, the Honda Silver Wing scooter in 2005, and the the Sunny in 2010. My longest journeys thus far are Louisville, KY on the Elite for the Honda Hoot (415 mi one way) and Johnson City, TN for Inzane on the Silver Wing (391 mi one way). No long trips on the trike (cruising speed is about 50 mph) but I may try one soon.

I'm Back!
Yes, I have been noticeably absent from the site the past few months. I recently lost my mother to a long battle with COPD and was subsequently plagued with a bunch of minor health problems. But I'm better now & back full swing.
